The first part show us the research history of Shi Tao and his “the primordial line”theory, which compare the previous two hundred years and the past century to arrive Shi Tao and his “the primordial line”theory in the higher status of Chinese art history and academic value. The second part began to research more deep about “the primordial line”theory of the two major issues. From one side is on the theoretical origin of the discussion. Another side is on the concept of elaboration. The article combined research summary of the the primordial line an aesthetic sense. The third part is the theory of a subject forward, through a painting the study of a new perspective. The whole article made of three contents and seven parts to show us about the “primordial line”academic thinking since the early eighties of the last century. I hope the overall significance to summing up the country and the early 1980s and the primordial line academic thinking.
