Inner Mongolia Normal University Institute for the History of Science and Technology, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, 010022) 摘　要:1953年至1962年间， 杨维作为包头钢铁公司（简称包钢）首任经理，负责包钢的筹建工作，主持、 参与了包钢选址、厂区规划、集结人员、培养人才、争取外援等大量工作，带领第一批员工开始大规模建设。 通过史料分析，梳理了苏联冶金技术向中国转移期间，杨维作为新中国第一代工程师在包钢创建初期所 作的贡献。 关键词: 杨维 包钢 冶金史 Abstract: From 1953 to 1962, as the first manager of the Baotou Iron and Steel Company ( short for Baogang Group), Yang Wei was in charge of the preparation of Baogang Group’s construction. He hosted and participated in Baogang Group’s site selection, factory area planning, assembly workers, personnel training, searching for other’s help and so on. Meanwhile Yang Wei leaded the first group of employees to start large-scale construction in Baogang Group. According to the historical analysis, the thesis will not only descript Yang Wei as new Chinas first generation of engineers, his contribution in the early stage of the creation of Baogang Group during the transfer of Soviet metallurgical technology to China.
