School of Energy Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin 15001, China) ABSTRACT: A new numerical simulation method closed to streamline has been developed. With t his method, numerical , study has been performed on complicated structural nozzle jets , , and tangentially fired aerodynamic field. It can not only solve t he problem of false diffusion in the calculation of furnace flow field well, but also can simulate the nozzles complicated struc ture and the furnace corner structure in detail. Furthermore, a 1. 1 comparison with experimental results measured by hot wire , anemometer showed that the met hod can quite accurately reflect , t he propert ies of sophisticated multi nozzle jets and fired aerody , namic field. A closed to streamline numerical simulation is thus , effectively realized in furnace. KEY WORDS: false diffusion; complicated structural nozzle;
