Some people tend to drink a lot when they are under great stress of life. Others may take alcohol when they are very tired or too bored with life. It’s true that many violent people tend to be alcohol abusers, but violence and drinking are two different things. Alcohol abuse is a bad habit, I think, while abusing family members is a matter of quality or character.
