In Chapter I, we take a look at macro indicators related to Japanese healthcare and health insurance systems. We turn to the US health system in Chapter II, which is of much interest in 2008óa presidential election year. It also refers to the system in EU. In Chapter III, we look at Japanís universal health insurance
