1.Master the four words;blue,green,yellow and red.
2.Master the pronunciation of “green”.

Wordcards ,multimedia, PPT
Teaching procedures:
= 1 \* ROMAN I.warm—up/Revision
1.Greetings.
2.Free talk.
3.Sing a song “Hello”.
4.I show Ss a picture of rainbow and ask; “What’s this? “Ss:彩虹.
T:Yes,it’s a rainbow .It’s very beautiful. Today we will learn Unit 2 colours.
= 2 \* ROMAN II. Presentation
1.I let Ss look at the PPT .T: What colour do you see ? Ss: 红色.
T:Yes. I see red .r- e- d .red , red , red (I write red on the board and put up the wordcard). I let the Ss in group one read this word one by one.
2.T:What colour do you see ? Ss:黄色.
T:Yes . They are yellow .y-e-l-l-o-w yellow ,yellow ,yellow (I write yellow on the board and put up the wordcard ).Then I let Ss read the two words two by two.
3. T:What colour do you see ? Ss: 绿色.
T:Yes , I see green .g –r –e –e –n green ,green , green (I write green on the board and put up the wordcard).
I use the same way to teach “blue”.
T: Who wants to be our little teacher? Good ,you please !
This time , I let boys read the five
words, then girls read them.
I let Ss look at the screen and read after me.
Do the exercise.
Now let’s play a game. What colour do you see?
Show Ss some chalks. I see ...(I write I see on the board ).
10.Ss listen to the tape ,then read after it.
11.Let’s chant.
= 3 \* ROMAN III. Practice
1.What’s missing ?
2.High and low voice.
= 4 \* ROMAN IV.Consolidation
1.T:Show me your crayons.
Show me red, red ! red ! red !

2.Listen to the tape and do the action .
