Methods All the 91 patients with acute cerebral infarction were divided into treatment group (n=46) and control group (n=45) at random. The former group was treated with MLUBIO and the latter with some extracts from pseudogieng, a kind of traditional Chinese In treatment group, the primary curative rate, obvious curative rate and total curative rate were respectively %, % and %, but in the control group the counterparts were respectively %, % and %. There was significant difference in the curative rate between the two group (P). In treatment group, all the paramete of hemorheology after treatment except hematocrit were clearly improved when compared with those before treatment (P, or P). So were total cholesterol and triglyceride. Conclusion MLUBIO helps effectively to the recovery of neural function and to the improvement in hemorheology and blood lipids in acute cerebral infarction.
