Methods: Using SP method, the expressio of integrinανβ6 and MMP-9 in 80 cases of colonic carcinoma and their normal tissues from resection margin tissue were detected. The relatiohips between the expressio of integrinανβ6 and MMP-9 and the clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed. Results: The positive expression inteity of integrinανβ6 and MMP9 in colonic carcinoma was remarkably stronger than that in normal tissues（P）. Correlation analysis revealed that the expression of integrinανβ6 and MMP-9 were associated with the progress of the tumor pathological differentiation, Dukes stage and lymph nodes status（P）. Moreover, there was a positive relatiohip between the expressio ofανβ6 and MMP-9（r=, P）. Conclusion: The expressio of integrinανβ6 and MMP-9 may reflect its value as a prognostic marker and is significant for early stage colonic tumour.
