Abstrac:tWiththedevelopentofspectraltechnology,thespectralanalysisethodsonplanthavebecoeanipor-

tanteansofonitoringtheinforationofcropgrowthandnutrition.Theresearchadvancesthatonitorfiveindexes

suchasleafareaindex(LAI),bioas,swaterconten,tchlorophyllconten,tandnitrogencontentofcropgrowthand

nutritionbythespectraltechnologywerereviewed.Theprospectsofapplyingthespectraltechnologyinonitoringthe

inforationofcropgrowthandnutritionwereputforward.
