论 文 摘 要 近代中国的政治诉求是为追求国家独立自强。从张之洞提出“中体西用”开 始，有识之士就开始了利用西方先进物质文化抵抗外敌的征程。虽然体育早已由 传教士传入中国，但直到军国民思想兴起才引起国人关注，清朝末年即 1880 年 军国民教育思想萌芽，体育在这时作为军国民教育实施的内容受到部分利用。本 文是以这一时期体育开始受国人重视的时间为起点至1937 年国术与体育之争论 结束，二者走向融合为止进行研究。之所以选择这一时期，是因为1880 年至1937 年是近代中国社会政治对体育发生影响的较为典型的时期，这段时期由于列强侵 略，国人利用体育救亡图存，或当作推翻封建统治的革命工具。这一时期近代中 国的政治运动包括军国民教育的实施、辛亥革命、国术与体育之争以及新文化运 动，西洋体育在这一系列的政治运动之下得以传入，被国人重视，作为“强国保 种”的工具或革命工具被提倡。也正是这样的政治愿望，体育得以曲线而缓慢的 发展。这段时期每一次威胁到中国政治统治的事件，都给体育带来了得以在中国 发展的机会：甲午中日战争失败随即倡导军国民体育，大量体育项目涌入中国； 维新派为求变法提倡“尚武”、“强国保种”；资产阶级革命派为推翻清政府的封 建统治大倡“全民皆兵”的军国民体育；伴随战争而来的基督教青年会为近代中 国体育事业的发展带来新气象；国术与体育之争，带动传统武术采用近代化的体 育锻炼方法得以向大众传播；新文化运动探讨体育真义，体育作为教育的一环加 速了近代中国学校教育现代化；最后体育这一外来文化又以其强大的力量促进近 代中国的民主进程，推动了近代中国的政治改革运动。 关键字：近代体育；政治；身体 Abstract The political aspiration in Modern China is the pursuit of national independence and self-improvement. From the start that Zhang Zhidong introduced the policy of absorbing western technology, far-sighted people began the journey to resist against the enemies by making use of the western technology and culture , although the sport has been introduced to China by missionary means, but it was not until the rise of the military national ideology that people concerned about, the end of the Qing Dynasty, 1880, the military national education ideology sprouted, sports as the content of education of military training has been partly implemented at that time. This article researched in the starting point that Chinese people attached importance to sports, to the debate of Martial Arts and Sports in 1937, and go to merge together in the end. Chose this period for the reason that Modern Chinese society and politics had typically impact in sports in 1880 to 1937,due to imperialist aggressions in this period, Chinese people save their nation by sports, or make use of sports as a revolutionary
