Key Laboratory of Process Optimization and Intelligent Decision-making, Ministry of Education, Hefei 230009, China ) Abstract: Based on the EOQ model for deteriorating items with stock-dependent selling rate, this paper devel- ops a more general inventory model with stochastic replenishment interval and partial backlogging, where the backlogged demand rate is shortages-level dependent. The necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence and uniqueness of the optimal solutions are provided, a numerical example and key parameters ’sensitivity are shown to illuminate the presented model.
