The Anglo-Saxon religious belief The Anglo-Saxons were heathen (异教徒) people, believing in old mythology of Northern Europe. English language was influenced by the Northern mythology. Heathen people with their paganism withdrew to remote areas. A mixture of paganism and Christianity existed in the Anglo-Saxon society.
