I have remained interested in language difference between Chinese and people from English-speaking countries when taking the course intercultural communication in the first year of graduate study. Added with my supervisor’s influence, I gradually read books related to the area. Hui-Ching Chang, a Taiwan-born American, writes the book - Clever, Creative, Modest: The Chinese Language Practice.
