The Interaction between Transmitting Terminal of the ICRH Antenna and Plasma ABSTRACT Ion cyclotron resonance heating is an important way for auxiliary heating in tokamak, which can heat ion effectively ,control plasma toroidal rotation and improve plasma confinement. Investigation on fast wave heating is of great significance for achieving ignition condition and high-performance operation of the future nuclear fusion reactors. The coupling efficiency of the interaction between transmiting terminal of the antenna and plasma in the process of the plasma heating by ICRH antenna, as well as the electromagnetic distribution on the Faraday shield is studied in this paper. Firstly, dispersion relation of tokamak plasma and the relation of ion cyclotron damping with the antenna emission spectrum is deduced by dynamic equation and Maxwellian equations under the conditions that the ion temperature of central tokamak plasma is 1.5keV and the ion distribution is Maxwell distribution .Secondly, the relation of the power reflection coefficient in tokamak plasma surface and absorption attenuation to the emission spectrum n// are deduced by using a stratified plasma slab and the W.K.B approximation. The effect of fast wave minority heating in different emission spectrum of ICRH antenna conditions when EAST working in two typical magnetic intensity are numerical calculated.
