wind power Wind power is the use of air flow through wind turbines to mechanically power generators for electric power. Wind power, as an alternative to burning fossil fuels, is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, clean, produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, consumes no water, and uses little land. The net effects on the environment are far less problematic than those of nonrenewable power sources.
Compared with traditional energy ? Traditional energy resources like oil and coal will pollute the environment and renenwable energy resources won't. ? Traditional energy's storage volume is numbered, but in theory, renewable energy will never be exhausted.
advantage ? The storage volume of renewable energy in China is abundant. ? Renewable energy is good to solve Chinese environment problems, like smog. ? The government attach importance to rennewable energy, they invest lots of money.
Problems ? The cost of renewable energy production is very high. ? The policy and market in China is not complete. ? We still need to develop new technology.
