教学设计
Teaching goals:
1. Words and expressions: meeting, video, organize, let sb. in, wear jeans, have a good time
2. Target language:
A:I think I’m going to the party with Karen
B: If yo do , you’ll have a great time.
If+主语+谓语﹙一般现在时态﹚+其他,主语+谓语﹙一般将来时态﹚+其他。
3. 学习条件状语从句: if + will.
4. 学习谈论因果关系.

if 引导的条件状语从句。
Teaching procedures:
Step1 Leading in
First let students listen a English song“If you are happy ”to raise their interests. Next use two questions to lead in.
1〉If you are happy, what will you do?
If I am happy, I will…(smile, sing, dance…)
2﹚Do you want to join the party? Why?
Give the students 5 minutes to discuss the questions with their partner, and get some answers.
Step 2 Presentation
Show some pictures to present new structure:
If it is sunny this weekend, I’ll go fishing. Ask several students:
What will you do if it is sunny this weekend?
What will you wear if you go to the party?
How will you go there if you go to the party?
Who will you go with if you go to the party?
Encourage more students to answer these questions, then ask them to work in pairs to make their own conversations.
A: Are you going to the party tomorrow night?
B: Yes, I am.
A: Who will you go with?
B: I think I’ll go with Karen and Anna.
A: If you do, you’ll have...........
Step3 Practice
Show the pictures of SectionA1,ask the students to predict the consequences.Talk with responses. Then play the recording and tell students to complete the responses in 1a, then check answers.
Step4 Group work
Tell students to work in a group of 6. Write a story with you group on a piece of paper. The first person begins the story with“I think I will....”The others add sentences with“if”.Pass the paper around twice.Then read the story.
A: If I study hard ,I will go to a good university
B: If I go to a good university ,I will get a good job .
C: If I get a good job , I will get lots of money .
