They’re sweet. I don’t like grapes. They’re sour. 2. Understand the dialogue in “Read and write”, and then fill in the blanks. Teaching emphasis and difficulty: (1)Four-skilled sentences. (2)The spelling of“favourite”. Teaching steps: Step1: Warm-up: (1) Let’s chant (2) Let’s sing “What would you like for lunch?” (3) Free talk: A: What’s your favorite food? B: I like …/ They’re…/What about you? Step2. Pre-reading: I like… They’re… I like… It’s… I don’t like… They’re… I don’t like … It’s… Carrot juice Step3: In-reading General reading Read the passage quickly and decide(决定) “True” or “False”. 1. Monkey likes apples. (T ) 2. Rabbit likes grapes. ( F ) 3. Rabbit doesn’t like bananas. ( F ) (2)Detailed reading Read carefully and answer the questions. What’s Monkey’s favorite fruit? 2. What does Rabbit like? 3. What’s Zip’s favorite drink? (3)Read and write T: Now, boys and girls, we have read the passage, let’s write, OK? (4) Listening (5) Read aloud. Step4. Post-reading (1)Role-reading Four groups must choose one person to read the passage according to the roles. Teacher gives gifts to the best readers.
