Act as Daming and Sam to try to retell their traveling experience. The teacher can give the helpful words, such as: went, climbed, saw, ate, bought.　　2. Play a game. The teacher say the verbs and the students say out their past tense.　　Step 2 Presentation　　1. The teacher pretends to take out a letter. Open it and say, “Yesterday, Lucy wrote a letter to me. She told me something about her school trip. Do you want to know it?” Then show it on the screen and read it loudly　　2. Teacher hangs the picture on the blackboard. And at the same time play the cassette once. Ask the students to circle the difficult words. Ask students to find out the irregular verbs’ past tense and try to find out their original words.
