Design a time schedule and express in English. 学情分析 学生为小学五年级的学生,有一定的英语基础和相关知识,对英语课的指令用于很熟悉,能够在进行合作式学习,并将所学知识加以运用。 课前准备 根据教学内容所设计制作的多媒体课件、录音机、磁带、实物教具、评价奖励等。 Teaching steps(教学步骤)(见下页) What are you doing? 出示课题 Step 1: 1. Warm-up: a) Greetings: How are you doing? What’s the weather like in Jinan? Which season do you like best? Why? What can you do in spring? Which teacher do you like best? What’s s/he like? Do you like English class? b) Chant and do the TPR together: Cook the meals, water the flowers, do the dishes… 2. Revision: Ask and answer between T & Ss: What can you do? I can empty the trash… Step 2: 1. Presentation: a) T: Where are you now? ( Point to the classroom). OK, you are in the classroom. What are you doing? (Show it on the screen.) Enable the students to answer it correctly. b) Show Chen Jie on the screen and enable the Ss to ask her: What are you doing? Then the computer responds: I’m making a present for my teacher. c) Take out a real present and learn this new word. Then the phrase “making the present”, pay attention to the spelling form of the word “making”. The Ss ask the T first then switch, at last, practice between two Ss. d) Show some animated characters and the related phrases. Set an example to the Ss, and then have them practice in pairs. e) Let’s chant. Drill the main phrases and sentences though it. f) Show a calendar and ask what date it is. Then listen to the computer carefully and get the main idea of what it says. Ask the Ss what festival is coming. g) Ask a question: Which teacher does Chen Jie like best? Enable the
