Lead-in (引导发现) 1. sing the song 小苹果 by 筷子兄弟 together. 2. introduce and describe the singers肖央, 王太利 Ask Ss what does he look like? tall --- short; thin --- heavy, long hair --- short hair, sing loudly . Presentation (互动实践 ) 1.Ask Ss to see the pix about 肖央,王太利 to see the differences. Then compare some of their things with each other. e.g. Xiao Yang is taller/ heavier than Wang Taili。 Wang Taili is shorter / thinner than Xiao Yang. Xiao Yang has shorter / longer hair than Wang Taili。 Summarize the Comparatives. A + be(V) + 比较级 + than + B. 2. Show the Ss several pictures and teach Funnier, friendlier, more outgoing , more serious, more hard-working, smarter, lazier, run faster, jump higher, work harder, get up earlier Summarize how to change adj. /adv. to comparative degree Play a game: That’s , isn ’tthat? Pairwork: that’s , isn ’t that? listen to a song and find the comparatives . Group work (点拨提升 ) Ask Ss to compare with their deskmate and find out the differences.
