Unit 6 Tell me when the pain started. Period 2 Listening Speaking Analysis of the teaching material This class is based on the second period of Unit 6 Tell me when the pain started.--Listening and speaking. It’s mainly to train students’ listening and expressing abilities, especially the ability of getting specific information by catching the key words and taking notes. By learning this class, the students can make use of the common expressions of illness. Analysis of the students Knowledge foundation:学生已能掌握短对话听力练习,但对长对话的信息抓取不够。在表达方面,学生熟悉对话练习框架,但对本节课话题了解不多。 Learning style and abilities:幼师班学生大多是女生,英语课堂上学习态度积极,多数学生能踊跃参与小组活动和师生互动,课堂整体氛围较为活跃。但本班学生英语基础不够夯实,布置任务时语言需简短清晰,必要时重复。 Teaching strategies 教法:任务型教学法 学法:任务型学习,小组合作学习,自主学习 Teaching strategies Teaching method: task-based teaching method Learning method: task-based learning method, group cooperative learning method, self-learning method. Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aim: Students are able to know the key words about illness: stomachache, toothache, fever, cough, headache, runny nose, sore throat. 2. Ability aim: Students are able to listen and understand long dialogues about illness. Students are able to ask and describe the symptoms of illness. 3.
